Our e-learning fee covers the classroom content. After finishing the online portion, you can sign up for the live-fire range qualification. We provide both weekday and weekend sessions for this. The $35 fee for the shooting qualification also covers the range costs. Completing both the e-learning and range sessions is necessary to receive the certification for the Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit.
If you are not local to us, we have partnered with several other ranges and instructors around the state to make the process as seamless as possible for you. We currently have qualification locations arranged in these cities but are adding more quickly.
The course is limited to a single person per email address. The course includes a certification; therefore, each person must complete the course individually for time tracking and certificate purposes.

I didn’t grow up in a home with fire arms. Everyone on my fathers side hunted except my father and my mother was not educated at all on the subject. She was the epitome anti gun. I started learning a bit more in military school and was even a high shooter on my squad, but that was only with rifles. I never had any form of pistol education. From school I worked at shady bars in mult states and in other dangerous careers such as a repo guy for a short time. I was always able to use hand to hand in most of my encounters, but even more importantly awareness and evasion. I think the subject of awareness can’t be overstated and I believe Barret did an excellent job of driving that home. Unfortunately, awareness, evasion and hand to hand just isn’t enough anymore. Especially as I get older where evasion and hand to hand becomes more of a challenge. Thank you Barret. Well done.

The classes were very detailed and instructive, covering many things beyond the safety and use of firearm. The ability to take the class on my time while working offshore and having little to no time or signal has made this the best option for me.
