Without a doubt, this was the BEST online course I have EVER taken!!! The decision to put this 9 hour course online was extremely beneficial, and I felt as though I learned and understood so much more because of being comfortable and doing it in an at home setting versus in a classroom for so many hours straight. Also, because I was able to complete the 9 hour course at my own pace and not all at once, my attention and focus was able to be at 100% for each and every topic, and now I am confident that I will be able to retain so much more information from what I was taught in this course.

I recently completed the online concealed handgun permit course in order to meet the LA state requirements for training recertification. Since I have had a carry permit, I have had to recertify several times over the years in accordance with state law. This is the first time I have done this outside of an in person, classroom type setting. I got so much more out of this format and the content was so much more interesting, engaging, and relevant than what I have experienced in previous trainings. I highly recommend Barret’s online CHP course whether you have carried concealed for some time and are recertifying as I was or this is your first time taking such a course to initially apply for your carry permit.
