CHP Qualification for Online Class (Outside Instructor)

This qualification is with Robert Helmer. Robert has a private range in the Lee Rd area of Covington. You will need to bring a copy of your certificate for him to sign.

Event Description

This range-qualification event is reserved for students who have completed the e-learning material for the Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit. Please complete the course prior to registering for the range session. 

As part of the certification, you are required to have range time that includes

• At least 12 rounds fired at each distance of 6ft, 10ft, and 15ft, into an NRA B-27 Type Target
• Safely Reloading at Each Distance
• No Misses Allowed

• 50 Rounds of Ammunition
• Hearing and Eye Protection
