Annually, approximately 60,000 individuals in the United States lose their lives due to hemorrhaging, a 2018 review estimates. In fact, massive blood loss, accounts for over 40 percent of fatalities occurring within the first 24 hours following a traumatic injury.

In today's unpredictable world, being equipped with life-saving skills is essential for ensuring the safety of yourself and your loved ones. The Bleeding Control Skills course offers practical knowledge and hands-on training to empower individuals with the ability to effectively manage bleeding injuries resulting from gunshot wounds, self-defense scenarios, and active shooter incidents, or the many other types of unexpected accidents.

This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of bleeding control techniques, enabling them to respond confidently and decisively in high-stress situations. Whether you are a gun range enthusiast, concerned citizen, self-defense practitioner, or someone simply seeking to be prepared for unexpected accidents, this course equips you with valuable skills that can make a significant difference in critical moments.

Course Highlights:

  1. Understanding Hemorrhage: Explore the various types of bleeding injuries, including gunshot wounds, knife induced wounds, other accidents, and their potential severity. Learn about the importance of rapid intervention and the factors that influence bleeding control.

Instructors:

Christopher Vogels is an experienced special operations paramedic with 15 years of service at a large metro EMS agency. Preventing hemorrhagic death has been a significant part of his career. He currently works as a private contractor, offering his expertise to film production companies, industrial services, and the maritime industry as a remote paramedic. Throughout his career, Christopher has assisted on the education team for military personnel and municipal and federal law enforcement agencies in south Louisiana.

Barret Kendrick is a seasoned instructor in bleeding control skills, bringing over 10 years of experience in the field. He is a certified Stop The Bleed Instructor and Basic Life Support Instructor, having trained with some of the more renowned experts in the industry. Kendrick's expertise is grounded in his extensive teaching background, equipping individuals with critical life-saving skills.
